In a heartbreaking accident on April 6, 2025, Reagan Dougan, 27, and her four children lost their lives in a fiery collision in McIntosh County, Georgia. Reagan was driving her kids—a 9-year-old boy, a 4-year-old boy, a 2-year-old girl, and a 3-month-old baby—toward Florida to reunite with her husband.
The SUV she rented from Raleigh collided at speed with another car and then hit a guardrail before catching fire. Law enforcement said the SUV hit the back of a white sedan before leaving the road. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital, but Reagan and her children died instantly.
