Once ready, position these bait balls where roaches often appear—cool, dark, and moist places like behind the fridge, under sinks, and inside cabinets.
The egg yolk draws in the cockroaches, and the boric acid acts as a poison, causing lethal disruption to their digestive systems after they eat it.
If you have pets or kids, always place the bait where they can’t reach it, such as behind appliances or inside closed cabinets, to keep them safe.
You may need to prepare fresh bait balls a few times if roaches keep reappearing, as new eggs can hatch after the first treatment. With patience, this simple remedy can help you reclaim your home from these persistent pests without harsh chemicals or costly pest control services.
